Energy Requirement
We want to help you understand your energy user by giving you an energy grade. If you achieve and average grade or better, you're good to proceed with your certification. If your grade is poor, you will be required to have an ASHRE level 1 energy audit.

Green Checklist
Other than a few mandatory requirements, the checklist is designed to provide you with the flexibility to pursue a wide variety of measures. It can be saved so you don't have to complete it all at once. You can view the checklist here to know what is involved before you start.

Submit Your Application
That's it, you're done! Submit your application online and receive a confirmation email. We will get back to you within 4 weeks. The first time application, which is valid for two years, is FREE. After that, there is a $50 recertification fee to continue your access to the program benefits.

Progress & Fun
Once you're Green Certified, you will have private access to online tracking tools to easily benchmark and track your progress. You will also be able to Bring Your Green (BYG) challenges throughout the year and see how you stack up against your peers for cash prizes.
